The AAAOM is the only national professional association representing the interests of acupuncturists and Oriental Medicine professionals in the United States. Formed in 1981, AAAOM has grown to be a unifying force for American Oriental Medicine professionals developing Oriental Medicine as a complimentary field of health care. AAAOM actively communicates with cabinet level positions, FDA Officials, and State Legislators.

With active Oriental Medicine professionals from around the world working together to further the education of those looking for alternatives to traditional western-based medicine, our influence and ability to work on behalf of the profession has given Oriental Medicine professionals their much-deserved recognition as medical practitioners.

To continue the increase in stature of Oriental Medicine and to continue our work as chief advocate regarding such issues as insurance coverage and possible bans on certain herbs, we invite you to become an active member of AAAOM. We offer membership levels to fit every stage of professional development – from those beginning their education to those who have been actively treating patients for years, to allied professionals, schools, AOM business members and consumers.

If you apply now (or at time of renewal) for two consecutive annual memberships, your dues stay at that rate when you joined or renewed – saving the difference from any dues increase. We also offer an EZ PAY Plan! The EZ-PAY Plan allows you to pay the two consecutive annual membership commitment in four, six-month periods (not applicable for the student rate). Note: A $5.00 administration and processing fee will be added to each credit-card transaction.
